Problems

Hey guys! No post this weekend either 😦 I can’t upload the pictures I took at Amy’s WiFi party to this post and I have no idea if it’s a problem with WordPress or my computer, my computer is working fine for what I have experimented (except with this little issue) and I’ve updated Adobe Flash Player, similar programs that have to do with pictures and even deleted them from my computer folders and uploaded them again from my camera. I just can’t seem to find the problem, unless wordpress is having issues but I think other blogs would complain too if it was wordpress.

I had this same problem last weekend but I didn’t think it was something to worry about, I just said to myself I’ll try again next weekend when I have more time, this weekend I tried and the problem wasn’t gone 😕

I’m confused right now and I feel really guilty and sorry, especially if it’s a problem from my computer as I will probably have caused this problem in the first place.

I’m trying everything that crosses my mind to get rid of the problem, but meanwhile I can just say that if on Tuesday I don’t can’t post Amy’s Birthday party’s pictures I’ll post the 5th and last chapter of “The Turnip Trade” story (also sorry for not posting that sooner)

I know you must be thinking, I wouldn’t have all these problems if I where more organized, thing is I can’t even find time to be organized… so once again: I’m really sorry!

XOXO, Jemma

PS: This is probably going to be a temporary post and will be deleted after the next post is published.

  1. I’m just glad you were planning on posting pictures, it’s okay whenever you get them up. 🙂 The link for uploading pictures leads to a sort of fancy pop-up, so I can see why it would require Flash or cause problems. There’s a message that says “You are using the multi-file uploader. Problems? Try the browser uploader instead.” so maybe that could work. Here’s the link:

Anyway, good luck with fixing whatever the problem is! And I’m also looking forward to the next chapter in your story 😀

    • Thank you Amy, I did try the browser uploader but there was no luck either 😕

The last chapter of my story is going to be published tomorrow (if no last-minute plans come up) and I hope you enjoy it very much!

Also thank you for all the support and I promise I’m uploading the pictures one way or the other!
I use a different computer for school work and I’ll see if I can upload them to wordpress using that computer ‘caiuse if no one else is having this problem with wordpress possibilities lead to my computer being the problem.

Publishing the 5th chapter of the story and your birthday party pictures are two of my 3 priorities right now, the other one is passing the test I have tomorrow 😛

  2. Hi! Kiya here.

Ok, if you want to add photos without uploading them to wordpress, you can go to the following link, upload the photos, and it will give you an html code to insert into your post where you want the photo to be.

    http://www.tinypic.com/

It worked for me when the WordPress Newfyworld wouldn’t upload the photos, and I hope it works for you too 🙂

    • Thank you so much Kiya! I think I got the problem pretty much solved and I’ll post the 5th chapter of the story on Thursday (I said the same on Tuesday so, sorry for that but it’s exam week) and on the weekend I’ll post the photos.
Thanks anyway! It’s good to see that when I have a problem you support me, thanks Kiya!
PS: One last thing, I don’t know how to comment on your blogspot blog, it asks me if I want to share my wordpress identity (only username) with blogger and I say “Yes, just this time” but it doesn’t publish the comment 😕

  3. I can’t believe I didn’t think to mention that, I used to upload all my AC photos to tinypic. The only problem with it is that some of my old posts are filled with red-x dead images because the bandwidth was exceeded.

If you upload with tinypic, you can also use the the last code called “direct link for layouts” and put it in this image html code:

    <img src=”URLGOESHERE”>

You can even change the width with the code:
    <img src=”URLGOESHERE” width=”500″&gt

What do you think?
